What are flower essences?
How do they work and how do you take/use them?
In the 1920s/30s Dr Edward Bach discovered the usefulness of flowers and their strengths and energy to help heal emotional situations such as really deep seated fears, stress, depression, hopelessness, and distressing emotional states. To test his theories he found flower remedies that helped him recover from many debilitating emotions and discovered the 38 flower remedies known as the Bach Flower Remedies and Rescue Remedy.
Today there are many, many remedies used throughout the world based on his work, all flowere essences without exception are safe to take as the energetics of the plant is held in water and is used on the subtle energies of the body.
Understanding the emotions of the body, the way the plant grows and the colour of the flowers are all important pointers as to the best essences to be used for each individual, as no two people are alike and have come to their emotional states from different perspectives. A lovely plant for helping to heal broken bones is knit bone, or its more common name comfrey, the signatue of the plant is the way the plant grows shows how it helps to knit the bones together.
Essences can be taken internally through drops taken under the tongue at least three times a day, but can be taken as many times as the person feels they need to take it, there is no right or wrong way to take them, as long as the feelings improve the essences are working. They can also be taken topically, placed on the wrists and rubbed together then rubbed through the aura, placed on the temples and if someone has been knocked out then a couple of drops placed just inside the corner of the mouth will rapidly help their recover, hence the name Rescue Remedy.
